The Moral Values of Short Story " The Happy Prince
The happy prince short story give up some moral values. According to me, the first Moral values that can we found in this short story is to be always happy is good thing, but we must look around us too. If we're happy we should make other people happy too.
Second that we can learn from this story is about Charity, the general benevolence of people. He does not mind if he goes blind or loses all the expensive materials he has in his body.
Third thing is How lofty if we help someone soon without hoping for his/her response or revenge. Help someone and make him being happy make us being happy too. How beautiful this life if we want to share our happiness to others.
And The last moral value it is not good to be a selfish and an arrogant man like the major, we can see from major attitude when he know the Happy Prince statue is broken and it is become so ugly. He is disgusted to see it and ask people melt in become iron dust and change the statue become his statue. A major describe a selfish and an arrogant man because it will lose out ourselves. If we are a selfish man, other people unpleasant when they near us and someday they will hate us because we just care for ourselves and we don’t care with them.
